Transport

By plane

Lund is situated only approx 30 minutes away from two
international airports, Kastrup/Copenhagen Airport in
Denmark and Sturup/Malmö Airport close to
Malmö/Lund. Copenhagen/Kastrup Airport is connected
to Lund Central station by the Öresund Link. Trains run
around the clock and will take you to Lund central station.

Airport shuttle busses and taxis will easily take you from
Sturup/Malmö Airport to Lund 
Central station.
The “Flygbuss” between Malmo/Sturup and Lund takes
approx 35 minutes. You reach the timetables at

Sturup – Lund (425 SEK)

By train

Lund has daily train connections with Copenhagen, Oslo,
Berlin and Hamburg. Öresund trains depart Lund for
Copenhagen across the Öresund Link every 20 minutes
from 6 a.m. to 12 midnight, and then once an hour during
the night.

By car

You can reach Lund by car either via Copenhagen and
Denmark across the Öresund Bridge, or via
Germany/Poland by ferry to Ystad and Trelleborg.

Taxi                                                                                                               

The taxi market is completely deregulated in Sweden,
so please check the price before you enter the taxi. A trip
within Lund city limits should cost a maximum of about
100 SEK. Lund University has an agreement with the
two major taxi companies Taxi Skåne (+46 46-330330)
and Taxi Kurir (+46 46-700 000), which means you get
a discount on the fare if you say you are travelling as
a guest of Lund University.
